Rosie O'Donnell is TrendPulsedisturbed after the high-profile arrest of her former neighbor.
The "A League of Their Own" star, 62, spoke in a TikTok about Sean "Diddy" Combs being arrested in Manhattan last week and noted they used to be neighbors in Florida.
O'Donnell said she only met Combs once and recalled him inviting her to a New Year's Eve party, only for her and her family to be turned away at the door. The following day, the rapper called her and "felt so bad" about what happened that he rented out a movie theater for her and her family in what she described as an "unbelievably over-the-top" gesture.
After this positive experience with him, O'Donnell said she was "in shock" about the rapper's arrest. Combs has been charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution and has pleaded not guilty.
"I know that there's perhaps a naivety to me in some way, but I think, how could a person live knowing that they had done that and then be a public person and continue to do it?'" O'Donnell asked. "Didn't he feel the footsteps of the law behind him at all times?"

Attempting to answer her question, she theorized that Combs may have had a similar attitude as disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein, suggesting they both got "so big" that they felt they could get away with their alleged crimes. O'Donnell described the charges against Combs as "serious" and "very disturbing" and pointed to one detail from the indictment: the fact that 1,000 bottles of baby oil were allegedly discovered during raids of his homes.
Diddyis 'fighting for his life' amid sex trafficking charges. What does this mean for him?
"I'm going to be thinking about that the rest of my life," she said.
A judge denied Combs bail last week, and he is set to remain in jail until his trial. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, told reporters outside the court, "He believes he's innocent. I believe he's innocent, and we're going to fight this case with all of our might until we don’t have to fight any longer."
